Unfortunately Vietnam is not a carnet country, increasing the difficulty in bringing equipment to use on a short term basis. Most equipment can be rented in the short or medium-term for standard rates in Vietnam. Speciality cameras, lenses, or rigging may need to be rented in HCMC, Singapore or Hong Kong and flown in.

“I was a producer on a show that we shot in Ho Chi Minh City over the summer, and AlmazMedia was able to make all kinds of magic for us happen during our time there. They aretrue professionals and a pleasure to work with! As a producer for original television &digital series, I can say that all production companies looking to make great content inVietnam should go with Almaz Media’s team.”
“Almaz Media’s most helpful attribute was that they always had quick, smart and efficientsolutions whenever we ran into an inevitable unforeseen production problem. A productionis affected greatly when someone offers solutions, rather than a shrug and an “I don’tknow” attitude, especially when you are unfamiliar with the country and are relying on yourlocal producer for guidance.
I am an Emmy Award winning producer and have worked with many DP’s/Cameramen and Almaz Media’s cinematographer Vincent was among the best. Their work is beautiful and is really helping my film for HBO. I will definitely be working with them again if I need any filming in Asia. Their professionalism was top notch and the producer’s help with the paperwork/permits was also terrific and organized
